A new public sector framework will support projects up to £15 million across London and surrounding Home Counties regions.
Scape has announced its next generation Regional Construction Works and Services framework, set to launch in summer 2027. This framework will cover projects valued up to £15 million across London, Greater London, and the Home Counties—specifically Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire. It is designed in full compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, ensuring a robust and transparent procurement route for public sector clients.
From a construction management perspective, the framework’s regional approach is particularly significant. By dividing the area into four lots, including two that both incorporate London alongside the Home Counties, it enhances flexibility and capacity. The inclusion of up to three appointed partners per region means clients can access a wider pool of contractors, improving competition and project delivery options. The requirement for bidders to demonstrate an annual turnover of £20 million, either individually or through joint ventures, encourages collaboration between larger contractors and SMEs, reinforcing local supply chains and supporting regional economic growth.
For high-end residential and commercial projects in London and the Home Counties, frameworks like this provide a clear, compliant pathway to engage capable contractors efficiently. Effective construction management can leverage such frameworks to streamline procurement, manage risk, and maintain project momentum. Atico Solutions recognises that understanding and navigating these evolving frameworks is essential to delivering complex developments successfully within these dynamic markets.
